I’ve always wanted to photograph the famous beach huts at Brighton Victoria.
Great Ocean Road and Twelve Apostles = Done
A lovely work colleague lent me a beautiful lens to play with.
EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM
Sadly I now want one of my own.
These images taken at my favourite beach – Avoca, NSW, Australia
Redhead NSW and a random model or two. Right place, right time, why not? 🙂
This morning’s sunrise from my bedroom window shows results of learning to shoot manual. Satisfying being in control of the camera for a change 🙂
So long not blogging and too long not photographing on a regular basis is not good for me. A little outing yesterday and attempt at photographing with a story? I also have a new lens – still working out if I like it or not. Need to take more photos 🙂
A local school is being demolished so I decided to check it out closer last weekend with just my 50mm lens. These are a few of the images. I suspect the site will end up with some enormous block of concrete – I think it’s called progress?
Unfortunately I’ve been out of action for a couple of weeks with Bronchitis. As well as missing people contact – especially family – I have had terrible withdrawal symptoms from not being able to shoot. I’ve missed not being creative though I have been able to play a little with some software. So yesterday I took myself out to one of my favourite spots – Long Jetty, unfortunately it wasn’t the best sunset but I still got to play a little, and it felt good 🙂
This guy was running a wood fire pizza stall at the Salamanca Markets in Hobart last weekend. He was such a character – so animated – I wish I took more images of him.
I like this image as it tells a story :-). That’s how I want my photography to develop.
